I have been MIA for awhile....

so I am back!   OMG life is crazy!   But these pics that I have been able to catch!   Well I feel that someone from up above is walking with me!  

I love when there are such clear messages of his love!  

I took this pic the other evening when I was out with my ol' man at the rig!    I wanted a really different shot...so I laid on the ground for this one!

grab your and let's go!    Since he has had a day to recoup from the job he was rested up and took me out!   I love get in the truck and driving!   So peaceful and full-filling in my soul!    We took all back roads from our smalltown to the next!   These first two pics are of a bridge close to Alexander Kansas.   With the sun going down just at the right time and the shape of the bridge, well I just had to take a couple pics!

And these next pics are of a walking bridge in Rush Center Kansas!   My son just fell in love with this one, he actually got out to play around on it for a while!    The solar powered lights were a great element due to the fact it was getting darker outside but not dark enough to get them all to come on!

Really seeing a part of me....

Well really I did not take these pics...because that is my sitting in the chair!   LMAO!   I am a tattoo person...I love getting them and wearing them!   I got 9 of them with two being cover ups!  This is my latest addition to my body art!   HA HA!   We are ol' skool  bikers, but (the but part) my ol' man thinks his womans' body is pretty enough not to put tatts all over it!   Me on the other hand if I could I probably would get my whole body done...well most of it!    See I am not one of those people that just think OMG I want a tattoo!    Each and everyone of my tatts are very personal and tells real and maybe dark in a sense (but not to me) life to me!   I am my own person, and individual!   With my own likes and dislikes!    If you do not like what I look like, don't look - if you don't like what or how I am speaking, well then don't listen - I AM A PERSON ACCEPT ME FOR WHO I AM!   I won't try to change you, please don't try to change me!  

My mom, that woman who raised me!   Well she is not to happy with me, along with my ol' man of 12 years! And they both were pretty upset.....but damm baby I am 35!    I love me!   Lots of people have attitudes about people that have ink on them!  And it like this you should not judge a book by it cover!

This is my one and only son with his buddy....

everyone welcome SMILEY!  At least that is what we call her!   When we bought our new (to us) school house - we found out an old friend lived in the same town!   Our friend used to live right across the street in the town we used to live in!  She only had a daughter and a son at the time!   Well its been 'bout 7 years since we really talked to each other, come to find out she had another girl that is 5 now!  And our son and her (the 5 year old) are the best of friends! 

And the reason that I have named this precious little girl SMILEY, is simply because she usually is always smiling!   What a wonderful feeling it must be - to be young and feeling good 'bout life still!   I pray everyday that children can keep that feeling of when they where young!   So many of us have gone thru our adult years forgetting that it is the small things in life that actually make it!   And as busy adults, parents, spouses, etc. please make sure you look for something that makes you smile everyday!   Wave at everybody you drive by even if they don't wave back! Tell people in you life that you love them as often as you can!

and all that I am!!   Well just like all the people out there that are behind the camera!   I have all these wonderful pics of people, buildings, animals, nature and so on.   So I have turned the camera around to get some shots of myself!    

I don't usually do this unless I am in desperation too!   I am married to a wonderful man!  He has no problem being a husband to me...a father to my son (wish he could have been biological but that is all right) since my son was only 1!   He has no problem getting up and heading off to work at the very thought of a call!   But to get him to pick up the camera and take some shots of me is another story!   Sorry babe!   But u know it is true!  LMAO!  

I think it has been 'bout six months since I did this!   In a way it is kinda coinceded to take pics of yourself...but who the hell is going to take the photographers' pic????!!!!  

In with the NEW - Out with the OLD...(this post was late getting done-sorry)

as they say!   Who they are I don't know?   This is more Valentine's Day presents from my ol' man...Harley boots!   I LOVE HARLEY BOOTS!  I wear them all the time, wish I had more then one pair!   But they are pretty pricey for shoes.   You know how it goes when you go shopping, it is usually from you kidos or your spouse/ other family!   They way way do gifts is thru out the year, not necessarily on the day of the holiday.

So a couple days before Valentine's Day I took my Ol' Man a lunch while he was at work.   Stayed there for 'bout an hour with him.  And as I was telling him goodbye he told me to go get me a new pair of boots!   Yeah!  I was so excited!  Specially because I am a mother, and mothers' usually come last when it comes to getting things for yourself!   And in our family...it is just easier to say here is some money go pick out something for yourself!   LMAO!!!  So here is the pic that I took as I got ready to try some boots on.  To be honest to I looked at the women's boots.  I was going to get a pair of women's boots.  Due to the fact as my last boots are men's.  LOL!  I got the off eBay in 2005 for only $30 brand new!  They were my first pair of Harleys' and I love them! Anyway I found a pair of girly girl after riding boots tried them on deciding they were the pair.  Had a guy size my foot so I knew that I actually was wearing the right size!  And being so flat footed I wanted to make sure I got a pair that were comfortable too!   Found a pair and got them.  After I got home and wore them only on carpet I figured out that they were not the right pair!   

After a couple of days of trying to really like this new pair I took the girly girl pair back.  Then finding myself looking a the men's Harleys' (LMAO!) I spotted a pair that I had really been looking at since last year!   I am really into skulls, and they have the skulls!   Yeah!   So like I say in with the NEW!   I love them, the fit pretty good...THANK YOU sweetie!  I have worn them everyday!   

The day of love...

is supposed to be Valentine's Day!   But as far as my ol' man and I are concerned we need to celebrate the love of a spouse (or anyone that is in your life) everyday!   Who said that we just have to celebrate the love of a person on a certain day anyway?   As a woman I really try to put some romance in our lives!   And for my ol' man...he goes to work pretty much everyday!   Yeah he complains about heading off when other couples are enjoying their evenings watching a movie together.  But like he tells me and I do agree with him...he is the provider!  

As the house wife, I do everything I can to show the love and appreciation doing little things!   Even if they are corney or not!   I love to buy flowers for my ol' man.  He is a very hard core husband, father, friend, and tool pusher of a oil drilling company!   My favorite flowers are Calla Lillies and my ol' man's favorite color is purple.  We are very simple people to please and we look at every moment together is timeless!  

Getting started...

on this blog has taken my a month!   Not because its hard to figure out how to blog.  But simply because I was not sure how to introduce what I see in the world - to you!   So here goes, I take pictures everyday of my life!   My camera is always ready to go!   Even inside the house, my ol' man thinks I am kinda silly taking all these pics!  Some get printed out to use in my scrapbook albums and some are used for my blogs, Facebook etc..

I take pics of normal things, people, and places!   And then I take pics of things that lots really don't want to look at!  I am not a professional photographer but would love to go to school to learn!  Anyway I have started this blog to get my pics out to the people that would like to open their mind up!  See what a small town Kansas girl has on her mind!

 And we are off...these pics were taken tonight!   One of my favorite things to shoot is sunsets.  As far as I am concerned God paints us such beautiful paintings every clear night here in Kansas!  There are some evenings that I am out driving around - picking up the phone to either call my ol' man at work or my mom!  Or even clicking one off with cell phone camera so I can send a picture text to friends!
